The kinaban is a Jew’s harp made of a flat bamboo strip used by the Hanunoo Mangyan. A slender tongue that has a cut in the middle can be found in the half part of the instrument with the triangular tip. The tongue is cut in even smaller proportions, which creates the twanging sound amplified by the mouth cavity when the instrument is played. The other half is the handle.
