Archaeological Materials
Dated to the Late Neolithic Age and excavated in Cebu, this is the head of a bark cloth beater made of stone. The handle is missing and only 1.6 cm remains of the ridged base.
Bark cloth beaters were ancient tools used for textiles to pound bark until all the pulp is stripped off and only fibers remain.
