A gukum is a portable cosmetic container for waxy materials such as beeswax used as lip gloss or ointments. This example is made of a round container made of silver and brass alloy, featuring a radial design engraved on the top and scrolling filigree patterns on the sides. It is connected to a brass chain with repousse filigree shapes.
