ABOUT MANILA SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA: Founded in 1926, the Manila Symphony Orchestra (MSO) is one of the finest orchestras in the Philippines and in Asia. Founded by Alexander Aglipay, the orchestra has played a major role in Philippine history, including acting as a symbol of resistance during the Second World War. MSO continues to nurture young talents and collaborates with like-minded institutions to advance the agenda of music, both as a source of entertainment and inspiration.
